It is important to me, as a visual artist, to have a strong narrative at play in my work.  Through those depictions, I shine a light on issues impacting women today including gender politics and bias. Colour and humour play a large part.  I want the figures to be hypervisible and to have agency. Weaving together mytholgy with historical references, I invite the viewer to consider alternative narratives.
